Two FO's.....Crazy, I know...

This is uncharted territory, people. I have two FO's to show you. This is just a quickie post before I get back to knitting that darned matching baby hat (remind me to not do this again, or at least find a better way...) and stay up to watch LOST.

I didn't do as many short row repeats as the pattern suggested, because it seemed like everybody was saying it came out too big. So I did 10 short rows for each side. I'm not really an "accessory" kinda gal, and I feel weird wearing it. No doubt it'll probably only see wear on the weekends or at home. And yes, those are knitting needles sticking out of my head...I needed something quick to put my hair up, and I didn't feel like/was too lazy to climb the stairs to get my hair clippy thing.....

The only thing I modified was the cables on the front panels...I just couldn't seem to get it right when I followed the pattern, so I just substituted these instead. It's sized for 0 - 3 months.

Pattern notes: I don't really like the raglan part of this pattern...it has you do a garter stitch and when you sew it together it is rather bulky. I tried doing a mattress stitch to make a smaller/flatter seam, but it just didn't look right that way. Next time I will stick with the Debbie Bliss raglan like I made here. I certainly dont' remember having any sort of trouble or disliking the pattern...
